Integrated Security Module Integrated Security Module

All XMLRAD applications have a built-in Security Module, which provides:

  • Login Screen (Fig. 1)
  • User authentification
  • Group/User authorization per XMLModule
  • Group/User authorization per XMLService

Figure 1 - Login Screen
Figure 1 - This login screen shows up when you're not authentified.
It also allows you to choose application language and skin.

XMLRAD provides a Security Manager, which lets you manage Users and Groups (Fig.2 and Fig 3.). Then you can allow or deny access to a specific group or user per XMLModule or per XMLService (Fig. 4). User permissions can be fine tuned from global to item specific. Security management has never been so easy !

Figure 4 - XMLService Security
Figure 4 - This is how you give access to groups or users.
Note that you can define and inheritate authorizations at the XMLModule level.

Anti-Hacking dispatch mecanism

There is also an Anti-Hacking dispatch mecanism, which prevents your application to be flooded by concurrent requests from a same IP address. This mecanism automatically rejects concurrent requests of a same IP when the number of requests exceeds the defined one (XMLC_MaxConcurrentRemoteHostRequests).
